What Do I Say to My Child
This is a very difficult time for all families. When you talk to your child, stay calm and manage your emotions so your child feels free to talk about what happened. It is okay to tell them, "You are going to a place where kids can talk about what is happening to them. It is very important for you to tell the truth." Also, be sure to tell your child they are not in trouble.
