To better respond to child abuse in North Dakota and western Minnesota, Red River Children's Advocacy Center, or RRCAC, was created by a multi-disciplinary group partnership of dedicated, regional and local professionals. It is governed by community volunteers and agency representatives dedicated to the RRCAC mission. As a charitable corporation the RRCAC provides a safe and neutral setting to coordinate critical services. Activities are supported by public and private donations, appropriations, local and statewide grants, and in-kind contributions from agency partners, community service organizations, foundations and businesses. The Red River Children's Advocacy Center exists to facilitate community response to child maltreatment for victims and their families through a team approach to investigation, treatment and prosecution in a safe and child-friendly environment. 5th Annual Spring Training "Child Maltreatment: Children Cooperate NOT Consent", the RRCAC's 5th Annual Spring Training will be held May 12-13, 2010 at the Ramada Plaza Suites and Conference Center in Fargo.
