Kids Closet
Kids Closet is located at the RRCAC and is supplied with donated items for infants to young adults. Kids Closet provides immediate access to little but important things that can make a stressful situation easier for children.
From a shelf a homemade blanket is selected in which a child can safely snuggle. A special new toy, game or book can help pass the time. A teenager might find a bag of personal care products or a diary, a young boy school supplies or a model car.
From around the region community service organizations, churches, school and youth groups, quilting clubs, partnering agencies, and other volunteers gather these special supplies. Businesses large and small provide gift certificates or age appropriate items from clothing to toys to assure that there is something available for every child or adolescent.
New items are recommended to assure that health and safety standards will be met.
